Revolation tour

On Tuesday the revelation tour came to HHS the leader was someone from Florida called Reggie who was a professional saxophone player .Who played the saxophone and he told us how he came from a broken home and how his parents did not want to have him . There were some dancers and then someone played the guitar and was singing a song . He asked some random kids from the audience to come to the stage and he asked them some questions on bullying he also asked 1 teacher to come to the stage . The teacher was miss Tozer .Reggie asked one teacher and then a funny kid a athletic kid and a smart kid popular kid . My favourite part was when he had the dancers up. I think that that last years was better . Because it went for longer and it was a lot funnier . But this year was still fun

PE hurumanu instructions on ki o rahi

The instructions for Ki o rahi.

In a team of 7 you have 2 people that have to defend the tupu and then everyone else has to try an score a try in te wairua. They get a point the other team has to knock te Ara over to get a point and the other team has to knock the flags over around the field and that team can score a try by running in the inner circle. Sometimes the ball can be a little football or can just be a coconut with a rope around it. Ki O Rahi can be played for all ages and is played all over the world sometimes schools hold Ki or Rahi tournaments the equipment you need to play Ki or Rahi is a football 6 to 8 poles and a bin. Ki O Rahirahi is a very very old sport was made in New Zealand in 1846 around that time Ki O Rahirahi was new. Now Ki O Rahi is mostly popular in university ages from 18 to 26 is the most common age to play Ki O Rahi and people of all different cultures play it.

ki o rahi hurmanu

this week in P,E hurumanu we have been playing a game called ki o rahi here is the field lay out below  the way the game works is the there is 2 teams with 7 on each team the am is to try to knock over the tupu with the football  you can carry the ball with your hands and you have to knock the tupu over has much times as you can the team that knocks over the tupu the most times is the winner my team has not lost a single game the teams have different coloured bibs my team is yellow there is red green dark blue blue and the non bibs  the teams also got to choose a name for there team my team name is the shooting stars  other names are the pandas hornets the dragons and 2 others but i do not remember
