The island

Hi this task was based on a island picture I hope you enjoy.

I see nature and the island as well as cliffs with beautiful sunshine . I see a blue gorges ocean with sailboats and a yacht . I sweep my eyes  to the bottom to sea a few sailboats and clear gorges ocean. I see a beautiful island with white cliffs green bushes and some houses.     

My name is Robb he is tall 6 foot 8 with grey skin who works in a ice cream store. He was a great standout employee who wants to get promoted. He has a hobbie which is playing video games like call of duty of fortnite. And he was good nobody on the island was even close to where he is.  

My boss does not like me because i always clap him in fortnite and cod. When ever we vs each other he says he will fire me when he losses but never happens. Everyone always tells me to stand up for myself but I can not then I will be fired. My girlfriend wants to move of the island but we do not have enough money. My boss also badmouths me to the whole island which is why I do not leave the house much. 

But my boss is moving of the island In 2 weeks and he says he might promote me  if I am a good employee. after 2 weeks he decided he would promote me and my girlfriend said she will stay here with me. And my girlfriend bought a Xbox so she could play fortnite with me and I will go easy.  and I will play with kid when he is old enough.  

Summer learning journey

Hello Emma I go to Hornby High School and I am in the Summer Learning Journey. The prizes sound very interesting and everybody here wants them. One thing I think everybody is looking forward to is to see who gets the most points. The best thing about the summer learning journey is the fact that it keeps your reading and writing levels up. I have been in the summer learning journey twice.

China

This is about a law that was in place a while ago in china

China is the most populated country in the world and a bit ago you could only have 1 child because the world was overpopulated. There is a birth every single second worldwide. The world is overpopulated there is not enough space in china people often there would be a lot of pressure on the one child to look after his/her parents. Lots of people would think this is a dumb law but I think the law was put in place for a reason. Another reason why the law was good was it made the country richer and the families.

   Here a some reasons why the law should be in place  

The world is overpopulated with too many people there is 2 births every few seconds in china. which is
lots if you think about it so in china there is so many people if you look down below you will see a link to
 China population .

Children cost lots of money so families with lots of kids could go homeless 

There would not be enough room in the world

In the dark alley there was a clown the joker who ran a hotel but his guests would leave scared he would bring them toes and eyes of other victims. So when no one came to the hotel he lived in the alley anyone who passed he would make them live in the hotel forever and the joker was immortal  but some escaped then everyone else escaped. he could just put them back in the hotel again because they where old. but when the world ended joker was the only one alive.

Fantastic Mr Fox part 2 post

This is a part 2 to my other blog post about my book I finished the book a while ago now I have to do this post  THIS IS A LINK TO A DLO  . My DLO I would really recommend that you watch the movie and read the book.The book is very similar to the movie the Mr Fox steals food from the farmers Boggis Bunce and Bean so the farmers shoot Mr fox tail. Then they dig his house with diggers after that the farmers blow up the house with TNT, Soon the foxes steal all the food from the farmers farms and eat it all in a giant feast. 

My favourite character  was Mr Fox because he was smart.

reflection on PE groups

Hello Bloggers, I am telling you about PE during this blog. This is meant to be a reflection on Hurumanu for the past term. I hope after this you enjoy reading my blog. My group is called Dragons while the other groups are called Sticky rice, crispy chicken, french fries and Celtics. At the end of Hurumanu 2019 I think believe we had a good lesson and it was very successful. I feel I contributed by teaching everyone about dodgeball. This was very hard and my role was to be the dodgeball teacher for the class.

Something I would do differently was make people do more exercise or more warm ups. I wish this Hurumanu was a even more successful and I would love to do this more in year 9. I learned that dodge ball is a competitive sport and that tournaments are held all around the world. I also learned dodge- ball involves a lot of different strategies

Other sports we did were bench ball, softball, dodge ball and basketball. All sports we did required using a ball. 

I really enjoyed this and would love to play sport more.

Roald Dahl Fantastic Mr Fox

I have been reading fantastic Mr fox it has been a very entertaining book about 3 farmers trying to kill a fox that has been eating their animals. The farmers are Boggis Bunce and Bean. At one point they shot the tail of Mr fox. What the family does is they dig very far down. When the farmers try to dig them out of their house the farmers are all mean. Boggis is very fat he eats 12 chickens a day. Bunce is a dwarf he eats doughnuts with goose livers in them and bean does not eat food at all he lives off cider that he makes. The part that I found most interesting was when bean said he lived off cider. I wonder if Boggis would eat his own chicken or buy them.

my trip to orana park

on Monday we went to Orana  and we spent the entire day there i thought that the lions were huge  this is a link to a folder of pictures that were taken on the day we went to Orana park. We also got to feed the giraffes and there tongues where really rough  we saw almost every single animal we did not see the cheetah. PE Hurumanu blog

Last week I did not do any blogging  but l did do the bench ball warm ups the warm ups where  running the width of the class x10 20x high knees 40x star jumps. After we did some games year 7 vs year 7 and year 8 vs year 8 then we did a big year 7 vs year 8 game. The group in charge of bench ball was french fries. But before we did the bench and after the warm ups we did sneak up granny. The score in the year 7 vs year 7 Tz won the game in Bh vs Tz year 8 Bh won all the games .



I found the maths not hard but not easy it was a bit of both at times it was easy and at times it was hard. Some of the members of french fries were Nathan Tamani Cody that is just a few in my team there is me daniel Jesse Tz Jesse Haylee again Tz Haylee. my readers theatre play

A few weeks ago i did readers theatre plays my play was about Fortnite. We got to choose what our play was about some of the other plays where interesting to watch. One play was called escape room another was called the witches spell. CIP STUFF

We have been doing a lot of blogging and this has been quite fun and and i hope we do more interesting stuff with the all blacks. we should hope they do well in the world cup and hopefully they will win. No surprise there GO ALL BLACKS!!

In CIP we have been doing some All Black stuff last week and I think that is super cool that we have got an reply from one of the All Blacks the All Black replied to us was Anton and someone in TZ is actually related to an all Black. I wonder if we would get a comment from every all an entire team one that would be really good. I think that Beauden  Barrett is very nice to be raising money for his sister with down syndrome.

MY DIGITAL TECH POST!!!!!!!

Hi there bloggers I am doing a digital tech post why because my teacher told me to  we will be using some apps called app lab and another app.  We also have been looking at social and ethical and environmental issues I am doing social issues on people that accidentally got famous like someone who was just working at wall mart but now he is just super famous  but he did no want this so I want to find other people who accidentally got themselves famous.

P.E hurumanu dodge ball practise

Today In hurumanu we have been doing some dodge ball stuff we did our drills which was very fun and interesting we mostly just practices our throwing and catching skills. We had to buddy up with some other people in our group for some of the exercises but that is nothing to bad  we had to so a few other tweaks and changes when we did our drills we did something where we threw a ball at the wall as high as I  could and try to catch it I think that was my favourite drill I still am keen to play the other games that some the other teams have done we mostly know how to play them but the other teams might have made some different rules then to how we play normally.

I just did the beep test and boy do my legs feel like rubber I thought this would be easy like last year. I think last year we had a different beep test because last year I made it to level 97 but I guess it is because we are year 8  I really hope that we get to do this again. I can not wait to see if my sore changes over time. The teams all chose sports that end with the word ball. But if you want to know my score in the beep test was 9.8 there was dodge ball bench ball  something called tchoukball  soft ball volleyball and some other ones that I do not know the name of.




My goal is my next score to be at least 15.0
My other goal is to win.
The best boy was Gerald with 10.1 and the best girl is someone I do not know.
