Investigation.

What is biomass?
A type of plant matter that is used to produce energy.

What are the 5 types of biomass?

  1. Trash.
  2.  Wood.
  3.  Crops.
  4.  Landfill gas.
  5.  Alcohol fuels.
What are three benefits of biomass?
  1.   its renewable .
  2.    less garbage in landfills .
  3.    it is less expensive .
What are three disadvantages of biomass?
  1.   Its carbon neutral .
  2.   Burning biomass is bad for our health .
  3.   It will be highly requested .

Research the following types of Biomass.
You will need to:
Write a definition of the each fuel.
Answer each question
  • How is it made?
  • What is it used for?
  • Where is it made? St
  • What is it made with? Stuff .
  • What countries use it?  Some .
Place 2 images of the fuel.
