Vietnam war

Vietnam war  The Vietnam war begun in 1960 and ended in 1975. The war was in the southern and northern Vietnam it was a terrible war with millions dying both american and Vietnamese. For a long time the Vietnamese war was the longest U.S serving war until the Afghanistan war 2002-2014. Around 500 000 of the 3 million troops who served in the Vietnam suffered from post traumatic stress. As most people may know the Vietnam people had won the Vietnam But that did not come without casualties around 365 000 Vietnamese civilians died in the war.




In 1978 an estimated 1,353 000 Vietnamese people died in south and north Vietnam as a result of the Vietnam war. In 1995 The Vietnamese government released there estimates on the the deaths during the war. The government thinks that 1.1 million Vietnamese people died as a result of the war  on both sides the total is 2 million. which can include soldiers in Laos and Cambodia. Some 1.2 million civilians had to relocated and during that period of time 1500 people died as well as 500 prisoners passed away due to illness.


 according a statement by the Vietnamese government 42 000 Vietnamese civilians dies due to the U.S dropping bombs throughout the the 15 year Vietnam war
